Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 Delisted in Germany & Italy. Remaster Incoming?

According to a report from My Nintendo News, Sega plans to quietly delist Xbox & PC ports to Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 in Germany and Italy. They also plan to delist the Dreamcast Collection as well. Although they plan to delist other classic games too, it's pretty sus that Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are amongst the delisted games. They are often regarded as some of the best Sonic games of all time.

Many speculate that Sonic Team might be planning a new port of the two Adventure games, maybe after the success of 2024's Sonic x Shadow Generations. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are not available to purchase on Playstation and Nintendo Switch for whatever reason, so now is a great time to make a new port of those games.

Back in 2018 , Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka  expressed interest in remaking Sonic Adventure, stating it was one of his favourite games in the series. Apparently at the time they planned to actually work on it but for whatever reason the project was cancelled.

It would be nice for Sonic Team to do a new port that includes Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 in the one game. It's unknown if Sega will delist these games elsewhere, and they have so far not provided a proper explanation of why they are doing it.

In 2022, Sega delisted Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD from Xbox and Steam just before the Sonic Origins collection came out, and recently they were planning to delist the original Sonic Generations when Sonic X Shadow Generations was coming out but thanks to backlash they reversed their decision and put it in a bundle of other Sonic games.

While this is purely speculation only, recently Sonic x Shadow Generations producer Shun Nakamura has expressed interest in also remastering the ill fated game Sonic The Hedgehog 2006. So anything is possible.
