Back in mid - 2006, long before Cameron's Playhouse, Cameron Hons was busy working on the hit internet webseries called Sonic Randomness. A popular show where the Sonic characters are retarded and stupid. Just recently, Cameron released a Bluray collection of all the seasons 1 - 11, across 12 discs, with the show being on Bluray for the first time.
With the most recent incarnation of the show being Season 11 from 2022, Sonic Randomness had also been revived in 2018's Jefferson and 2022's Cameron's Playhouse 6: The Vengeance Of Voodoo Doctor. "I felt like wanting to do a new series" (when talking about Season 11) said Cameron. "It was a lot of fun getting back into it and felt like the show hadn't changed at all." Now, Cameron has plans to revive the show again in some way. "I'd love to do a new movie." he revealed. The last movie in the Sonic Randomness series was Sonic Randomness 4: A New Beginning, which was released way back in 2016. Back then, it was to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary. Now not too far away Sonic Randomness will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, in 2026. The original film trilogy from 2006, 2007 and 2008 were released on DVD back in the day, but never on Bluray.
"I plan to remaster the films , (including the 4th one) and putting them on new individual released Bluray sets." Cameron shares. "I'm really excited about them. I also have a few unreleased special features i'd like to include." As for the new movie? "I am starting to get some great ideas and filming is expected to begin sometime in late 2024, and I am hoping for a release sometime in Q1 2025!"
For those that can't access Bluray for whatever reason, Cameron uploaded the whole series and films to the Internet Archive , but due to it being hacked you'd have to wait a while for the site to come back if you want to check out or re-watch the show online.
