For the first time in yonks, Australia is set to host a massive brand new Rock festival called "Pandemonium Rocks" featuring a mixture of Post-Punk & Hard Rock bands, bringing back some international acts who haven't toured the country in decades.
Hosted by Andrew McManus for One World Entertainment, who is responsible for bringing major acts like KISS, Motley Crue & Fleetwood Mac to our shores over the years, the new Festival boasts the acts of Dead Kennedys, Blondie, Wheatus, Placebo, Gang Of Fours & The Psychedelic Furs, plus other major rock acts such as Alice Cooper and Deep Purple. The latter who haven't toured in Australia for the first time in 11 years!
Alice Cooper & Deep Purple toured together once before back in 2017 during the launch of Purple's then album Infinite and Cooper's then album Paranormal. The tour lasted during 2017 - 2018 and was quite a success. Alice Cooper himself hasn't toured here since 2020. He too has a new album out, "The Road" released back in late 2023. Currently, Purple are working on their new album with new guitarist Simon McBride which is due for release sometime in 2024.
More acts are due to be announced within the week, as official dates, venues & ticket info will be announced on January 17 from the official website.
