Well after a long time of suspecting, Sega have finally given into the pressure of offering reboots and remakes of past Sonic The Hedgehog titles. At one stage during 2019, rumors of a Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 remake were all over the internet after Iizuka expressed interest in remaking them. At one stage they were in development but were cancelled for unknown reasons, according to Sonic fansite SOAH City. However, due to the recent success of 2022's Sonic Frontiers, SEGA seem to be more open to listening to their fans. The once very reserved company seem to be enjoying the spotlight as of late, with also the surprise addition of a new title; Sonic Superstars coming out in the end of 2023. Do you think now the Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 remakes could be a possibility again? It would be great if one day they would be able to get made.
It would be nice if other modern era games would get remade. Recently, Classic Sonic has been getting too much attention lately and I find that annoying. It would be great to see Sega relaunch some of their older Sonic IPs in new remakes. Or heck, maybe one day we would get Sonic Adventure 3? Now these days anything is possible for a Sonic fan!
